3:1 CBDA/CBD Oil: Various Sizes

 Same general formula as our tester batch we released this past September but slightly different-- this is more concentrated so you will need slightly less per dose. Made with a mix of strains of Michigan grown hemp grown under license #26-0022227 and processed using a solvent free, low heat rosin pressing technique. We chose this technique to make our new signatures blends because this gentle and natural process most preserves and extracts all terpenes, cannabinoids and micronutrients from the hemp flower.

"Rosin pressing" which essentially is applying low heat to the buds and squishing all the good stuff out of it. The resulting oil is then lightly decarboxylated by adding low heat to produce a 3:1 CBDA:CBD ratio. This contains other minor cannabinoids as well, such as CBG, CBC and less that .03% THC. This contains 700mg+ total of active cannabinoids.

This specific batch is high in CBDA, which is slightly different from CBD. It is essentially CBD in its raw form, and has been increasing in popularity and availability over the past few years. 

Some notable effects of CBDA vs CBD:

Scientists have found that CBDA not only affects the same receptors as CBD (ones that control feelings of anxiety and well-being), but that it works as an antidepressant at doses that are 10 to 100 times less than the ones required of CBD.

CBDA has been found to be notably more effective than CBD for nausea, epilepsy and inflammation.

A 2012 study out of Hokuriku University in Japan found that CBDA was effective at inhibiting the growth of an aggressive form of breast cancer.

My personal notes about this: CBDA is the acidic precursor to CBD. This results in a different taste than our traditional OG blend – and can be literally a little tougher to swallow, as the acidic nature can be slightly ‘burn-y’. Most companies selling CBDA usually sell in capsules to minimize this effect, or mix with equal parts CBD. I do not think that this batch was particularly ‘burn-y’ personally but I am aware that others can have different sensitivities.
