I’m Sarah—follower of Jesus, homeschooling mom, introverted extrovert, and the heart behind the Humble Collective. I started this business with a deep conviction: that healing should be natural, community should be real, and wellness should be accessible to everyone.
This business was born in 2017 in my California kitchen. At the time, CBD was hard to find and insanely overpriced—but I knew its potential. I started making simple remedies for friends: salves, oils, tinctures. The results were undeniable, and word spread quickly. What started with just a few homemade products turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
Fast forward a few wild years, and we've grown from a one-woman show to a family-run company now rooted on our 45-acre homestead and hemp farm in Michigan. My husband (a brilliant cannabis grower), my sister, and my sister-in-law make up the heart and soul of this operation—from farming and formulation to fulfillment and support. Together, we grow our own organic hemp, craft everything in small batches, and ship with love and care.
But Humble Collective has always been more than just a business. It’s my third child. It’s been with me through motherhood, marriage struggles, burnout, joy, heartbreak, and healing. And through it all, you—our community—have been right there. That’s what makes this different. We’re not some faceless brand. We’re a collective of real people, doing life and wellness side by side.
